The team behind Grizz Pest Management is swapping bug sprayers for cocktail shakers tonight — and every cash tip they earn goes straight to a La Grange dog rescue.
From 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, the family-owned pest control company will tend bar at Fourteensixteen, the downtown La Grange restaurant at 14 W. Calendar Ave. The event, billed as "Bugs, Beers & Bartending for a Cause," is open to the public, with signature Grizz cocktails and flatbreads available for purchase.
All cash tips collected during the two-hour window will be donated to Bark From the Heart Rescue, a La Grange-based dog rescue nonprofit.
Grizz Pest Management was founded in 2017 and is owned by Anna and Andrew Novinger. No reservation is required — residents can walk in, grab a drink, and leave a tip for the cause.
