One day after Jack Slightom's no-hitter blanked York 10-0, the Dukes punched back.

York beat LTHS 4-3 on Wednesday in Elmhurst, evening the West Suburban Silver series at one win apiece. The Dukes jumped out to a 4-0 lead through three innings, and the Lions' late rally fell one run short.

Tommy Georgelos led the LTHS offense, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Blake Ragsdale added two hits. York starter Blake Yankowski struck out four before handing the ball to his bullpen. Mason Shorter paced York at 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI, and Donovan O'Connor scored twice.

The Lions drop to 15-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
